Description
Jesus says to his disciples: “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love” (John 15:9, ESV). He invites us to dwell in him as a branch abides in the vine. What an essential and life-giving connection! Those who abide experience the faithful love and overflowing joy of the Lord that produces heavenly growth and fruitfulness. In this series, we will study the Gospel according to John, the beloved disciple, and deepen our connection to Jesus. John knew Jesus so personally: reclining next to him at the Passover table, hearing his sorrowful prayer in Gethsemane, and receiving the commission to care for his mother. Who better to guide us on the path to knowing and abiding in Jesus?
